DENPASAR, 14 October 2005 - Indonesian police said they have arrested two more men in connection with their probe into the Oct 1 suicide bombings in Bali. The pair were arrested yesterday in Banten province on the island of Java, police said, adding that the first and only other suspect in the bombings has been released.
'The two men in Banten were detained for questioning for seven days,' said Bali police spokesman Sunarko Danu Ardanto. It is not clear whether the men are believed to have been directly involved in the attacks on crowded restaurants which killed 20 people plus the three bombers.
